Josh Wepman
Josh Wepman, Information Security Consultant
Josh Wepman, the founder and owner of BitForce Consulting LLC is an Information Security System Designer, Cryptographic Analyst and IT specialist. His specialties include implementation of cryptographic security policy, system and network auditing, code vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and reverse engineering.
While finishing his studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder, Josh conducts independent research into Cryptographic and PKI policy and Penetration Testing of Secured Servers. Since 2003, Josh has worked as a contractor for the US Government, serving as a programmer at NIST, the National Institute for Standards and Technology in the High-Speed Microelectronics and Optoelectronics Divisions and as a programmer and web maintainer for NOAA’s Global Monitoring Division Aerosol Group.
Josh is also pursuing GIAC Gold IT Certifications in Penetration Testing, Computer Forensics and Cryptography, and plans to work toward the CISSP certification as an Information Security Professional.
